At its Nov. 7 meeting the Tulsa County Planning Commission approved a major amendment to PUD 286-b that would permit industrial-light uses throughout an existing mixed-use building.
Kendall (staff) described the property as split between office-moderate and light-industrial zoning under the existing PUD and said staff recommended approval with conditions, noting restrictions to protect adjacent residential edges. "Staff finds it a reasonable request and we recommend approval," the planner said.
John Moody, an attorney representing the property owner, told commissioners he agreed with the staff recommendation. There were no public speakers on the item. Commissioner Bulmash moved to approve the request pursuant to staff recommendations; Commissioner Robinson seconded and the motion passed.
Staff said the land use designation — employment — supported limited office and light-industrial activity on the site and that required setbacks and adjacency restrictions would remain in effect.
