The Mississippi Department of Education Data Governance Committee recorded several procedural motions and voice votes during its Nov. 6 meeting.

A motion to approve the minutes of the July 9, 2025 meeting was made by Melissa Becker and seconded by Sharon Turner Davis; the committee approved the minutes by voice vote with no opposition recorded.

Brett Robinson moved to amend the agenda to table item 6a (approval of the 2025 data dictionary) to the next Data Governance Committee meeting; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote. The committee then voted to accept the amended agenda.

Brett Robinson moved, and Lisonbee seconded, to accept proposed meeting dates of Feb. 4 and May 20, 2026; the motion carried by voice vote. Donna Hales moved to adjourn; Michelle Rhodes seconded; the committee adjourned at 9:16 a.m.
