The Auburn City Council on Nov. 4 approved three alcohol beverage licenses tied to special events on campus, a retail beer and retail wine license for a new Racetrack Alabama location at 4809 Birmingham Highway, and set a citywide trash amnesty for March 9–April 3, 2026, Mayor Ron Anders said.
Officials said information about acceptable curbside items for the trash amnesty will be posted on the City’s Environmental Services website and residents with questions should contact city staff. Anders described the racetrack location as at the intersection of Shelton Road and Highway 280.
