- Approved the consent agenda (items 6.1–6.4) as presented.
- Approved high-school course offerings for fiscal year 2027 that had been on 30-day public display (agenda item 7.1).
- Approved the high-school curriculum guide for fiscal year 2027 that had been on 30-day public display (agenda item 7.2).
- Approved the middle-school curriculum guide for fiscal year 2027 that had been on 30-day public display (agenda item 7.3).
- Voted to enter closed session early in the meeting to discuss personnel (1.5) and student-discipline (1.9) matters (motion carried by roll call).
- Accepted administration recommendations for two student-discipline cases (Student A and Student B), approving alternative placements as described in the public motions. Student A’s placement includes exclusion from all eighth-grade activities, including the promotion ceremony (agenda items 7.4 and 7.5).
- Nominated and appointed Board member Mr. Westfall as the district’s delegate to the Illinois Association of School Boards conference and authorized him to vote at the conference in accordance with the IASB resolutions committee recommendations (agenda items 7.6 and 7.7). Mr. Westfall said he planned to vote yes on 10 constitutional amendments and on a resolution related to school-bus safety funding.
