The Planning Commission reviewed two plat-level items for the Gates of Saint John subdivision on Nov. 5 and directed staff to finish bond calculations and final engineering before returning the items for formal action.
Steve Kilgut presented Gates of Saint John Unit 28 as a final (secondary) plat and said a walk-through with the engineer and planning staff is scheduled to establish bonds and required improvements. "This is a final plat... a secondary plat," Kilgut said; staff and the applicant set a meeting for Nov. 12 (referred to in the discussion) to walk the site and set bond amounts.
For Gates of St. John Unit 7A Lot 888, planning staff said the improvements and fees are in and that the item is a straightforward secondary plat dividing property into two lots; mylars will be delivered to staff and the item will return in two weeks.
No formal approvals were taken at the study session; both items will come back with finalized bond schedules and any remaining engineering comments addressed.
