Transit center project finishes under budget; council approves $531,000 credit in final change order

Staff said the reconciliations and remaining contingency and unused allowances produced a net credit of $531,000. With the credit the final contract total is $17,300,000, which staff noted is under the engineer’s estimate.
Council approved the final balance and change order by roll call. Staff said the project supports the council’s infrastructure priorities and will improve transit operations and mobility for riders.
