Votes at a glance: primary facilities, policy packet and routine finance and personnel items approved

The board recorded the following formal outcomes at the meeting.

Primary facilities report (early-site package): Motion to approve the primary facilities report passed by roll call. The transcript records affirmative votes for trustees called during roll call (transcript names called: Missus Aller; Miss Broderick; Miss Feltmeier; Missus Thomas; Missus Jean).

Policy packet (30-day posting): Motion to place the packet of policy updates on the district's 30-day local review was moved and seconded and approved by roll call. Trustees asked staff to revise the opening paragraph of the religious-instruction policy to explicitly attribute the requirement to Ohio law before the final adoption after posting.

Treasurer's report: Trustees approved the treasurer's report, which included approval of minutes from the Sept. 22 regular meeting and the Oct. 7 special meeting, the September 30 statement of revenues and expenditures, acceptance of a donation by ESA for a breakfast, and a corrected appropriation investment (an earlier double-counted carryover was removed). The transcript records a roll call with named votes including Bill Maher and others who voted yes.

Personnel recommendations: Trustees approved a slate of 11 personnel recommendations by roll call, covering new hires, hourly auditorium workers, resident-educator mentor stipends and training, career-connector stipends, athletic supplemental contracts and volunteers, a flex supplemental contract for a Dungeons & Dragons offering, and Miami University mentor stipends.
