During the Oct. 29 study session staff presented three development cases slated for public hearing review.
CUP 2555 (Rebecca Sage, applicant) requests permission to use a travel trailer as a permanent residence on a 1‑acre parcel in the AR‑1 (agricultural residential) zone at 694 East Swampham Lane. Sophie Koza (staff) said the caravan is located near the center of the property, the parcel is vegetated, and a neighborhood meeting on Oct. 21 had zero attendees; staff received no public comments.
When commissioners asked why many applicants seek permits after the RV or structure is already on the site, staff responded that landowners may have legal rights to park an operable RV on their property but that the conditional‑use permit creates a permissible, inspected path to living on an RV—addressing power, water and wastewater connections.
CP 2556 (Teresa and Robert Eacker, owners) requests approval for four 8×20 metal storage containers on a 75.73‑acre parcel in the General zone near Williams (18275 Flat Tank Road). Staff said the parcel contains sheds and the applicants hosted two neighborhood meetings (Sept. 29–30); one person attended one meeting and voiced no concerns. The proposed containers are described as dark green and intended for personal agricultural storage.
DO025005 (Wicked Welding, applicant Garrett Reynoso; w w loop LLC owner) is a Design Review Overlay (DRO) application for a 20,000 sq ft manufacturing warehouse with a roughly 1,914 sq ft attached office at 7019 Loop Road in an IH‑6,000 heavy industrial zone. Staff provided site plans, elevations, proposed signage and a conceptual landscape plan.
All three items will be scheduled for upcoming public hearings; staff answered commissioner questions about parcel specifics, use, and neighborhood outreach.
