Planning commission approves three conditional use permits

The planning commission approved three conditional use permits during its Oct. 29 public hearing: CUP 25045, CUP 25049 and CUP 25051. Staff recommended approval for each case and applicants were present to answer clarifying questions.

One applicant (Michael Sayers) confirmed a structure visible in an application photo had been removed; Sophie Koza (staff) said no residences were present on another parcel and that one neighbor attended a neighborhood meeting for a separate case but had no concerns. After public comment was closed, the commission voted to approve the three CUPs as presented in a single motion (moved by Vice Chair Wilson; second by Commissioner Best). The commission recorded unanimous approval.

What’s next: staff will finalize permit conditions and the cases will proceed under the normal appeal and administrative processes.
