Central Mountain High School student government vice president Kat told the board on Nov. 6 that fall sports have concluded with boys' soccer, girls' volleyball, cross country and several tennis players reaching playoffs. Kat also invited the board to the high school's drama production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in November and said the first marking period closed with an improved school climate compared with prior years.
"We are ecstatic at how well all of our fall athletes perform this year," Kat said, and thanked administrators for their presence in the building.
Central Mountain Middle School representative Levi Nace reported the middle school recently raised more than $4,000 through a walk/run/ride fundraiser tied to PBIS and that quarter 1 recognition rallies honored students for behavior and leadership. He also reminded parents that parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for Nov. 13.
Both student representatives thanked the board and administrators for their support and participation in school activities.
