Englewood city manager outlines facilities overhaul, sustainability and housing gains; flags revenue pressure

Sean Lewis, city manager, and Tim Dodd, deputy city manager, presented the City Manager's Office (CMO) annual accomplishments and near-term priorities to the Englewood Budget Advisory Committee on Nov. 6, 2025.
The CMO has reorganized facilities functions into its office and hired a facilities manager this month, Lewis said. "We hired someone who comes to us from the private sector, is a certified architect, has several years of experience managing very large teams, and large capital projects," he said. The city will introduce a ticketing/work-order system in January to replace an email intake for facilities requests and tie work orders to asset management.
