Dawsonville DDA to recommend several members for reappointment to City Council; one vacancy remains

Board members whose terms are ending were asked whether they would like to be reappointed. The DDA plans to recommend reappointments of several members to the City Council and is seeking to fill one vacant seat.
At its Nov. 6 meeting the Downtown Development Authority reviewed upcoming term expirations and said it will recommend reappointments of several members to the Dawsonville City Council.
Staff asked members to advise whether they wish to be reappointed. Amanda Edmonson said the DDA will recommend that council reappoint Jonathan Campbell, Tasha Howell, Jamie McCracken and Chris Sheets; staff noted one seat remains vacant and that the vacancy may be filled by the next meeting. No formal DDA vote was required or recorded on the recommendations.
Board members thanked one another for their service and discussed the board's recent work; staff will forward recommendations to the City Council for its consideration.
