Board approves façade rebates and two community solar subscriptions; votes to enter closed session

Hoover noted the subscriptions involve multi-decade arrangements to match the expected lifespan of the solar farms (he referenced 15–20 years) and that the solar farms are sited outside the village (Pontiac, Ill.). The contracts are with Solstice as the administrator; Hoover identified Bluebird Community Solar LLC as one of the project owners mentioned in the contract materials.
Closed session: The board voted by roll call to enter closed session pursuant to the Open Meetings Act (statutory citation given during the meeting). The motion carried with unanimous "yes" votes by the trustees present.
