Staff presented the project as modest in scale; neighbors who were reached by the applicant did not oppose the proposal.

Board members said the project was neighborhood compatible and consistent with the design-review criteria; several members requested that the applicant provide a construction-staging plan to the building department so that truck and equipment movements on the narrow adjacent streets do not block access. The board approved the staff recommendation and adopted the resolution authorizing the project; staff will address staging at plan check and permit review.
