Patty Stacy, solid waste and facilities director, told commissioners: "Before you is the resolution for awarding the bid for the Rodeo re arena seating project. We received 8 bids, and, Cascades Cascade Central was the low bidder," and said the architect recommended approval.
A commissioner moved to approve "resolution 20 25" and the board voted in favor. The meeting record shows those in attendance responded "Aye" to the motion and the chair declared "The motion passes." The motion and its recorded outcome appeared without a roll‑call tally of individual commissioner votes in the transcript.
The resolution vote was taken at the start of the 2026 budget work session; staff did not present a procurement protest, contract value, or scheduled start date during the discussion. Commissioners heard no public comment and proceeded to budget items after the vote.
