"So this is the lowest quote that you have based on other companies that could do it when there was only 2?" a commissioner asked; staff confirmed the firm was the low bidder. A commissioner then moved "to sign the Okanogan County purchased services contract over on call snow plowing and snow removal between Okanogan County and Grow Line Concrete Cutting LLC," and another commissioner seconded the motion. The board later recorded the vote by voice and carried the motion.
The contract covers on-demand clearing of county parking areas and drives; staff said comparisons with other vendors showed similar hourly pricing but that Grow Line Concrete Cutting LLC submitted the most competitive quote for the county's needs.
