The Beloit City Council voted to enter closed session under Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(e) to deliberate or negotiate the potential purchase of specified properties for competitive or bargaining reasons. The properties named on the public agenda were 128 Eighth Street, 1511 Elm Street, 507 Locust Street and 511 Locust Street.
A motion to go into closed session was made and seconded; council approved the motion by voice vote and indicated it would not reconvene into open session. The public portion of the meeting concluded at that point.
