Council approves amended PUD amendment requiring developer‑supplied materials and park amenities for Ravenia Ninth Edition

Corcoran — The City Council voted to approve an amended PUD amendment for the Ravenia Ninth Edition that changes the landscaping in two cul‑de‑sac islands and secures a donated shade structure and site furniture for Wildflower Park.

Staff told the council Lennar requested the PUD amendment to allow construction of two cul‑de‑sac islands (Primrose Court and Sunflower Court) without irrigation and with drought‑tolerant landscaping. Staff identified the islands as a PUD benefit—landscaped, irrigated cul‑de‑sac islands—and said Lennar proposed donating a shade structure for Wildflower Park as an offsetting public benefit.

“If the council finds that the shade structure offsets the PUD benefits of those two landscape islands for the Ravenia neighborhood and the community as a whole, then you would recommend approval of the PUD amendment as proposed,” staff said during the presentation.
