Staff identified the islands as a PUD benefit—landscaped, irrigated cul‑de‑sac islands—and said Lennar proposed donating a shade structure for Wildflower Park as an offsetting public benefit.
“If the council finds that the shade structure offsets the PUD benefits of those two landscape islands for the Ravenia neighborhood and the community as a whole, then you would recommend approval of the PUD amendment as proposed,” staff said during the presentation.
