Board recognizes Bill Braun for 20 years of service

The Souderton Area School District Board recognized director Bill Braun on Oct. 23 for 20 years of service to the district.
Erin Todd, senior training and outreach manager with the Pennsylvania School Boards Association, presented the PSBA Honor Roll plaque and cited Braun’s two decades of service on the board and the North Montco Technical Career Center joint operating committee. "This person has dedicated 20 years of service to Souderton," Todd said as she presented the plaque.
Braun offered brief remarks thanking the community and his fellow board members and singled out his wife for support during years of service. "It's been a privilege to serve this community and most of all, the students," Braun said. Board members and audience members applauded; the board president noted Braun has one more meeting before his term ends.
