Finance committee reviews Breslin Architects master agreement and Act 1 index for 2026-27 budget

Millet said a 4.7% increase would drive “approximately 2 and a half million dollar increase, dollar wise,” for next year. The committee discussed the possibility of exceptions; staff noted one published budget scenario eliminated exceptions, which would require the district to adopt a budget in January if exceptions remain unavailable and the district wants to exceed the index.
