Whitehall-Coplay SD introduces several new and reassigned special-education staff

During administrative matters at the Oct. 27 meeting the Whitehall-Coplay School District introduced and welcomed multiple new or reassigned employees in special education.
Mister Fonzone introduced Amy Tracy, who will serve as the district's new special-education facilitator for the high school; Tracy said she comes to the district from CLIU 20 and has a supervisor certificate and high-school experience. Jenna Notarashi will transfer from an MDSB classroom at Gockley Elementary to a special-services consultant role; Notarashi spoke briefly about her passion for special education and appreciation for district support. Cindy Sayers joins Steckel as an emotional-support teacher with experience dating to 2008 and will replace a staff member moving into a new life-skills classroom. Missus Stan Cone will move from a special-education facilitator position to assistant director of special education.
The board thanked the new and reassigned staff and asked them to remain after the meeting so directors could introduce themselves. The hires and transfers were listed in the personnel agenda that the board approved earlier in the meeting.
