- Joint appointment to Nevada Assembly District 39: In a joint meeting with Lyon County, boards confirmed Blaine Osborne to fill the legislative vacancy; Osborne took the oath of office.

- Schedule changes: The board moved two January 2026 meetings to Jan. 8 and Jan. 22, 2026 to avoid holiday conflicts.
