Lubbock County Commissioners approve minutes, budget transfers and payments; accept September unaudited report

The Lubbock County Commissioners Court on Nov. 10 approved routine financial and administrative items presented by the auditor.

Miss Williams of the Auditor—s Office presented a line-item transfer of $330,022 and budget amendments totaling $68,920. "I present line out of transfer amount of $330,022 and budget amendments in the amount of $68,920 and ask for your opinion," Williams said. Commissioner Rackler moved to approve the transfers and amendments; Commissioner Shaw seconded. The court approved the motion.

Williams also presented payments of claims totaling $5,203,590.20. A motion by Commissioner Rackler, seconded by Commissioner Shaw, authorized the payments as presented.

The court accepted the monthly unaudited financial report for September 2025 after a motion by Commissioner Rackler and a second by Commissioner Corley.

On personnel administration, the court accepted an order from Lubbock County district judges certifying appointments and salaries for assistant auditors; the motion was offered by Commissioner Dolby and seconded (as recorded) by Commissioner Ratcliffe and carried.

Items 6 through 11 on the published consent agenda were approved as presented after a motion and second. No item was pulled for separate consideration during the meeting.

All listed motions were voted on by the court and recorded on the meeting minutes as having carried; individual roll-call tallies were not specified on the record for these items.
