Endeavor (formerly NDSU Research Park) briefs committee on commercialization push, prototype demo with 119th Wing

The organization previously known as the NDSU Research and Technology Park presented a progress report to the Legislative Management Higher Education Committee describing a rebrand and an operational shift toward rapid commercialization of university research in precision agriculture, defense and energy.
Brenda Weiland, chief executive officer of the park entity, said the new brand (reported in testimony as "Endeavor") and a contract with the state that started Oct. 1 have enabled an initial build-out of an electronics lab, collaborative workspaces and a small technical staff. Weiland said the park's mission is to move university-stage innovations at technology-readiness levels 4'7 toward market introduction and to build partnerships with industry and military users.
