San Patricio County will hold a veterans outreach week beginning next Monday at 11 a.m. outside the county office in Sinton, county staff announced at the Nov. 10 Commissioners Court meeting.

County staff said the program will visit multiple locations across the county on specific days to assist veterans with Thanksgiving‑season needs. The first 10 veterans who appear at each outreach location will receive HEB gift cards. Staff said the cards were purchased using donations provided through Cheniere.

A county representative, Rudy, said the initiative is intended to recognize Veterans Day and to provide tangible assistance to veterans and their families. No cost‑share or long‑term funding commitment was presented at the meeting; staff framed the effort as an outreach and holiday assistance program funded with donated money.
