She asked the district to post at least three days in advance for half days and schedule changes.
Raymond also suggested the district participate in the Albertson parade with a homecoming float to increase district visibility and community engagement.
Board members acknowledged the concern; administrators noted existing notification channels and encouraged staff to coordinate messaging across teacher pages and district social media to reach families earlier. No formal board action was taken on the request during the meeting.
