The referendum "will be on November 4th," Dr. Treece said, and she described Question 1 as targeted to repairs such as HVAC, door and structural work and wells at Timberlane and Bear Tavern that, if left unaddressed, "would cause a catastrophic failure" and risk disrupting school operations. She told the board that state matching funds could cover up to 40% of eligible projects and noted that "we have to bond out the whole amount first and then they will give us 20 million back."
