In her remarks she said, “I had a car accident about 3 months ago... I'm 75, so, you know, I was, like, upset about that.” Assessor staff confirmed prior contact with the appellant and agreed to the continuance request.
After discussion about whether to require a 1-year or 2-year waiver to extend statutory timelines, the board approved reopening the matter and continued the hearing to March 23, 2026 with the standard data proviso that any assessor-requested materials be provided at least 30 days before the rescheduled hearing.
