Boise City planning commission approves consent agenda, defers three items

The Boise City Planning and Zoning Commission approved its consent agenda and deferred three agenda items at a public hearing. The commission approved routine time-extension requests and subdivision/variance items without public opposition, then voted to defer a conditional use permit and a zoning code amendment to December meetings.

Clerk Crystal opened the meeting and laid out participation rules, saying, “Everyone from the public entering the hearing virtually has been automatically muted and cannot speak,” and explained the three-minute time limit for public testimony and a five-minute applicant rebuttal. The commission chair reminded attendees that decisions made at the meeting may be appealed to the city council if an appeal is filed within 10 days and the appellant provided oral or written testimony at the hearing.
