Bethel Park Borough Council voted unanimously to adopt a slum-and-blight resolution and a concurring resolution to apply for Allegheny County Act 152 demolition funds.
Council Member Flynn moved to adopt Resolution R11-10-25C (slum-and-blight finding) and Resolution R11-10-25D (concurring resolution) to enable the borough to apply for demolition funding through the county's Act 152 program. Both motions were seconded and each passed 6–0.
The resolutions authorize staff to prepare and submit the grant application; if awarded, funds will be used consistent with county program rules to remove blighted or unsafe structures.
