Board sets Dec. 8 second reading for amended East Nassau mobility-fees agreement

The Nassau County Board of County Commissioners opened the first public hearing Nov. 10 on the amended and restated East Nassau Community Planning Area (ENCPA) transportation improvement and mobility-fees agreement and set the item for a required second reading on Dec. 8, 2025.
Planning staff explained the first-reading updates: several project name changes (for example, the County Road 108 extension is now shown as Riverbough Parkway in the agreement), updates to cost figures, and an updated expected buildout period for DSAP2. Staff said representatives from ENCPA were present to answer questions, but no members of the public signed up to speak during the hearing.
Commissioner Gray moved to place the agreement on second reading for Dec. 8; Commissioner Martin seconded. The motion passed on a 5–0 roll call. Staff said the second reading will take place during the commission's Dec. 8 workshop and the required formal hearing in the commission chambers.
Next steps: the board will hold the second reading and any final deliberations on Dec. 8, 2025.
