Nassau County commissioners voted unanimously Nov. 10 to authorize Chair Huttman to sign contract CM4026, a state-funded grant agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation covering improvements on County Road 107 and State Road 200A and accompanying resolutions.
Planning and county staff told the board the agreement was ready for approval but that FDOT had provided an incorrect FPN (financial project number) on page one. Mister Eierman, the county manager, said FDOT agreed to allow a strikethrough and correction and gave the correct FPN as 210712-9-34-01. "There was a scrivener's error on page 1 of the agreement," Mister Eierman said, and FDOT "agreed to allow strikethrough and correction." He read the corrected FPN aloud for the record.
Commissioner Gray moved to approve Tab F; Commissioner McCullough seconded the motion. The clerk called the roll; the motion passed 5–0.
The board did not discuss specific construction timelines or dollar amounts during the meeting; supporting resolutions and the FDOT agreement were included in the agenda packet. County staff indicated the correction to the FPN is administrative and that the agreement will move forward without delay.
Next steps: the county will execute contract CM4026 with the corrected FPN and proceed with the actions required by the FDOT grant agreement and associated resolutions.
