Council adopts variation 3 as Cypress Citylogo
Summary
After reviewing four design variations, the council unanimously adopted variation 3 as the official city logo following a staff presentation and brief council discussion.
City staff presented four variations of a revised city logo and recommended variation 3 as the strongest option; the designer told the council "this is gonna be your strongest bet, which is variation 3." Councilmember Chang, Councilmember Pete and other members indicated their support. The mayor moved to adopt variation 3 and the motion passed unanimously.
The presentation showed how the logo would appear in monochrome and single-color applications as well as on merchandise and letterhead; staff said optional versions were provided for printing and embroidery.
