School board approves minutes, bills, donations, appropriations and nonresident students

At its Nov. 10 meeting, the Campbell County School Board handled routine governance items and approved multiple actions by voice vote.
Minutes and bills: A motion to approve the Sept. 23 and Oct. 24 meeting minutes was moved and seconded and carried by voice vote. Speaker 27 reviewed the payment of bills and answered a question about two Sienna minivans; after review, the board approved payment of bills by voice vote.
Donations and appropriations: Miss McLean presented a list of donations for board approval; the board approved the donations. Two supplemental appropriations were presented and approved after a motion and second.
Nonresident tuition and personnel: A list of nonresident tuition students was approved as presented. The personnel report noted a newly hired special education teacher at Alta Vista Combined and highlighted classified staff changes (drivers added and some staff on medical leave); the board approved the personnel report.
