Lewisville planning staff honored with two APA Texas awards for backyard cottage outreach

Richard said Lewisville was one of 49 Texas communities recognized with a planning excellence award and also received a planning achievement award at the gold level for public outreach related to the Lewisville backyard cottage design competition. "We are very proud of that accomplishment," he said.
The announcement thanked the Planning and Zoning Commission and city council for their support of the outreach and design-competition efforts. No formal action was associated with the announcement.
