Franklin Beer Board defers Curio Brewing license application to Dec. 9

The Franklin City Beer Board voted Nov. 11 to defer consideration of Curio Brewing Company’s application for an on‑premises consumption permit until its Dec. 9 meeting. City staff told the board that Curio Brewing Company, at 111 Alpha Drive, had outstanding items on its application and asked the board to postpone action.
"There are some outstanding items on this application, so staff is requesting a deferral to the December 9 meeting," a city staff member said during the meeting. The board moved to defer the item; the motion was seconded and carried in a roll call vote.
All board members present — Alderman Armand Barnhill, Alderman Caesar and the chair — voted yes on the deferral. The board did not take further action on Curio’s application; the item will return to the agenda on Dec. 9 for follow-up and possible final action.
