The Peachtree City Planning Commission voted on Nov. 10 to cancel the Nov. 24 and Dec. 22, 2025 meetings because staff flagged quorum and participation concerns around the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
Staff noted there were currently no items scheduled for the Nov. 24 meeting and asked the commission to consider cancellation to avoid problems with late changes to attendance and agenda items. Commissioner Allen moved to cancel the Nov. 24 meeting due to lack of participation; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote. The chair announced the meeting canceled and confirmed the commission’s next regular meeting is Dec. 8.
Commissioners also moved and voted to cancel the Dec. 22 meeting for the same reason. Staff asked that time be reserved at the Dec. 8 meeting for the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) committee to review vendor quotes and next steps; commissioners agreed to include UDO discussion in the Dec. 8 agenda.
