The Missoula City Council unanimously approved its consent agenda at the Nov. 10 meeting, ratifying two accounts-payable batches and scheduling two public hearings.
Claire Trimble read the consent agenda, which included a motion to ratify accounts payable checks dated Nov. 4, 2025, in the amount of $2,308,886.12 and another motion to approve accounts payable checks dated Nov. 11, 2025, in the amount of $1,936,028.36. The consent agenda also contained a motion to suspend City Rule 21 and set a public hearing for Nov. 17, 2025, to hold a public forum on an application from the Missoula County Public Schools seeking a variance from Title 20 zoning code requirements for dynamic display and ground signs at CS Porter Middle School. Finally, the council set a Nov. 17 hearing for the phase development review and phasing plan amendment for the Aspire Subdivision phases 1 through 6 and referred that item to the Land Use and Planning Committee for discussion on Nov. 12.
Mayor Andrea Davis opened the consent-agenda public-comment period; no speakers separated items and councilors offered no abstentions. Claire Trimble called a voice vote and the council approved the consent agenda unanimously.
What happens next: The public hearings for the sign variance and the Aspire phasing amendment are set for Nov. 17, 2025; the Aspire item will be discussed in the Land Use and Planning Committee on Nov. 12 prior to the hearing.
