Supervisor Schaeffer opened two public hearings — one on amending Chapter 3, Article 2, Section 3-4 of the Town of Babylon Uniform Code of Traffic Ordinances and one on the preliminary 2026 budget. No members of the public had signed up for those hearings; the board moved to close both hearings and reserved decisions for future consideration.
The board then moved the consensus resolution agenda and approved a series of resolutions (recorded in the meeting as resolutions 743–748). Members offered and seconded the resolutions on the record; the clerk called the roll on at least one vote and recorded five votes in favor, zero opposed. The meeting concluded after an extended open portion of public comment and a motion to adjourn by Councilman McSweeney.
No votes on zoning or the industrial park were taken at this meeting; the record shows public comment was received and the board reserved decisions on the two hearings.
