Student editors presented the 2026 yearbook theme, cover design and editorial process. Editors said sales improved due to Instagram outreach, the book is near 200 pages, and students handle design, photography, and multi‑stage reviews.
Two student yearbook editors presented their 2026 yearbook to the CAMDENTON R‑III School Board on Nov. 10.
Kelsey Kincherman (S7), the editor in chief, said the cover will be light purple with a "Taking Shape" theme inspired by the lake. "This year the cover is purple... so I decided, we're gonna do a light purple yearbook cover," she said. Junior editor Emily Riffle (S9) described editorial processes including photography, template design, caption writing and a three‑stage page review. Advisors present (S13) noted yearbooks are archived at the Administrative Building and praised students’ leadership in the class.
Staff and board members complimented the students on increased sales and social‑media outreach; the students reported selling out at a recent open house and suggested ordering extras for high demand. The presentation was informational; no board action was required.
