The Rockcastle County Board approved routine operations and actions and accepted the October financial report during the meeting.
Miss Jenny presented the monthly financials and said the district will continue to monitor revenues and expenditures across funds. For Fund 1 she reported about $1.6 million in revenues and expenditures, and noted property tax receipts will start to be reflected on next month’s report. The board moved to approve the monthly financial report.
On personnel, Miss Jenny said the district received an increased allocation from KEDC for success coaches tied to the Elevate grant. The change allows three success coach positions (up from one) and adjusts those positions to 190 days to permit summer programming; because the job parameters changed, the district will repost the positions to reflect the new schedule. The board voted to approve the amended FY26 salary schedule for the success coach positions.
The board also reviewed and approved the superintendent’s personnel action report, which noted continuing hires for substitutes, classified and certified positions.
Board members asked a few operational clarifying questions but approved the motions by voice vote.
