Clinton Library reports budget passage, new programmer and winter events

Library staff reported to the Town Board that the recent library budget proposition passed with 74% approval. A library representative (S6) welcomed the new programming and outreach coordinator, Brittany Killibre, and encouraged patrons to introduce programming ideas as library staff prepare their 2026 slate.

The library announced holiday activities including a gingerbread-house program on Dec. 13 and an annual holiday cookie box sale; a QR-coded order form and flyers are available at Town Hall. The representative also reported October physical circulation of 977 items and noted that digital-circulation numbers were not available when the report was prepared.

During public comment Library Director Carol Bancroft (S2) echoed thanks to voters and described efforts to deepen partnerships with local organizations and businesses. Bancroft invited residents to share programming suggestions with her, the new programmer or staff member Susan.
