At the end of the Nov. 10 work session, Board member Lynn moved that the board convene into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(d) (crime detection or prevention), 19.85(1)(a) and (f) (personnel/disciplinary matters and personal histories) and to confer with legal counsel about potential litigation. A second was recorded and the roll-call style affirmation was taken; the board adjourned into closed session.
The motion also noted that the portion of the motion addressing expulsion hearings would be deferred due to missing preparatory materials; only the safety-and-litigation and personnel topics were to be discussed in closed session that night. Votes were recorded as affirmative by board members present and the district moved into closed session.
