Rusty Fuller, president of the North Fort Worth Alliance, told the council that neighborhood leaders and the developer held local meetings — including outreach in English and Spanish and involvement from Keller Independent School District representatives — and that the developer had modified the site plan to address traffic and child-safety concerns near Vista Ridge Middle School.
Councilmember Larsdorf thanked staff and the community for their work, praised the collaborative process and moved to approve the zoning case (ZC-25-125). The motion was seconded and carried.
Council discussion recognized the presence of Keller ISD representatives during outreach and noted staff revisions to the site plan in response to resident input. The approved action was recorded by the clerk as "Motion carries"; the meeting audio did not include a roll-call tally.
The council handled other zoning matters and board appointments later in the meeting.
