Council names pro tem, adopts minutes and adjourns
Summary
During routine proceedings the council named a meeting pro tem, approved prior meeting minutes, scheduled finance committee work and adjourned after routine motions.
With Council President Levon absent, council moved to elect a council president pro tem for the meeting. Councilmember Thielman moved to elect Randy Gerhardstein and Councilmember Koski seconded; all present voted in favor.
The council then moved to adopt the minutes from the Oct. 27 regular meeting; the motion was seconded and the minutes were adopted by roll call. The council also scheduled a finance committee meeting for Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. to consider the temporary and 2026 budgets.
After miscellaneous business — including a welcome to the newly elected Ward 2 councilmember Justin Ball — Councilman Jaworski moved to adjourn, Councilwoman Koski seconded, roll was called and the meeting was adjourned.
