Board approves minutes and financial items, then enters executive session

Maple Heights Board members approved routine business items on Nov. 10, including amendments to the Oct. 27 minutes, the financial report for the month ending Oct. 31, 2025, the fiscal officer certificate related to district invoices, and student activity funds for 2025–26. Each item passed on voice motions with roll-call confirmations; in each roll call present members voted yes (Shepherd, Moore, Cheeks, Blackwell) and Miss Granger was recorded as absent.
Treasurer Baldwin, in the financial report, told the board the district is wrapping up its prior-year audit and the forecast is accurate "off by less than a tenth of a percent." The board also approved the meeting agenda and the superintendent’s consent calendar.
Following those approvals, the board moved into executive session on item #1 at 7:30 p.m. The president stated no action would be taken while in executive session.
The motions and roll-call tallies are recorded in the meeting minutes; staff will file the minutes and financial documents as part of the district record.
