The Plan Commission recommended Village Board approval of a two-lot certified survey map (CSM) for property at approximately 2085 County Road L (RXUP00221A), submitted by Ken Osborne and with Chapput Land Surveyors as agent.
Oren described the request as largely a housekeeping split of a parcel that has historically included farming uses and was likely bisected by road construction. Staff said zoning is appropriate for the proposed lots, but noted technical comments from the village engineer that must be addressed. Staff identified a wetland shown in county GIS data at the south end of Lot 1 and recommended that a field wetland delineation be completed if a development proposal is later presented that might impact the wetland.
Commissioners moved to recommend Village Board approval subject to addressing the village engineer’s technical comments and the standard conditions outlined in staff review. The motion was seconded and carried by voice vote. Ken Osborne was present in the audience during the discussion.
Staff will work with the petitioner to resolve engineer comments and will require any required wetland delineation if development is proposed before Village Board action or permit issuance.
