The Benton County Board acknowledged the resignation of Jamie Kane, a motor grader operator in the county’s secondary roads division, with an effective date of Nov. 17.
Speaker 1 reported he had visited with Kane and that the position had been posted on the county website with applications open through the 21st. "I submitted his resignation effective November 17," Speaker 1 said. The board moved to acknowledge the resignation and members recorded an affirmative voice vote.
The county will accept applications through the 21st and plans to recruit to fill the position at the Bruce Township shed in the northwest corner of the county.
