Mister Sanders, presenting the Meadowview Fall Co‑Curricular Report, said cross country registered 24 athletes — 11 boys and 13 girls — and that "every single athlete had a personal best" at the conference meet despite cold, rainy conditions. Sanders also noted a program highlight: "Our first race was a win for Sparta with Dominic P being the overall winner for boys."
Seventh‑grade football drew 40 athletes from Meadowview and Innovation STEM Academy, coached by Gabe Miller and Steve Zweifel; Sanders said the squad finished 5–0 and beat Tomah 39–0. Eighth‑grade football had 23 athletes, with coaches Nate Mitchell and Austin Becker, and showed year‑over‑year improvement, including scoring a touchdown in every game despite a winless stretch the prior season.
Golf had 27 participants — the presenter reported an increase in female participation — and the boys placed third in the conference. Competitive play and coach support from high school staff were highlighted. Volleyball at both seventh and eighth grade saw high turnout (38 and 40 athletes respectively) with multiple teams posting winning records; Sanders said the program focused on communication, teamwork and skills development.
Throughout the presentation Sanders repeatedly linked on‑field coaching to social‑emotional learning: "Our coaches emphasized social emotional learning during the season with goal setting, celebrating those personal records along with resilience and perseverance." He closed by thanking coaches and parents and answering board questions about SEL integration.
