Washington County Commissioners Court approved accounts payable totaling $772,994.32 during its Nov. 4 meeting.

County staff member Mr. Kramer presented the batch and stated the "grand total" figure. A commissioner noted that more than $500,000 of the total was for road seal material, a necessary input for road maintenance, and praised county crews' work as more economical than hiring contractors.

A motion to approve the accounts payable packet was made, seconded and carried by voice vote; no roll-call tally appears in the transcript.

The court moved on to adjournment after the vote.
